The CFP® certification process, administered by CFP Board, identifies to the public that those individuals who have been authorized to use the CFP® certification marks in the U.S. have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when dealing with clients. The mission of Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) is to benefit the public by granting the CFP® certification and upholding it as the recognized standard of excellence for competent and ethical personal financial planning.

Advanced financial planning for every person and every need: that is the credo of the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation program. ChFC® covers a must-have list of requirements for financial advisors, from knowledge on tax and retirement planning to special needs advising, wealth management, insurance, and more.

The Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) is the world's most respected designation of insurance expertise. This prestigious course of study advanced my knowledge on the insurance needs of individuals, business owners and professional clients.

The "Certified in Long-Term Care" (CLTC) designation was created in 1999.  It focuses on the discipline of extended care planning.  It provides professionals the critical tools necessary to discuss the subject of longevity and its consequences on their client's family and finances.  In this course, Jamie furthered her education on how to mitigate these consequences by developing a plan to protect her clients and their families.

The Series 7 exam — the General Securities Representative Qualification Examination (GS) — assesses the competency of an entry-level registered representative to perform their job as a general securities representative.

The exam measures the degree to which each candidate possesses the knowledge needed to perform the critical functions of a general securities representative, including sales of corporate securities, municipal securities, investment company securities, variable annuities, direct participation programs, options and government securities.

The Series 6 exam is administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and assesses knowledge of mutual funds, variable annuities, securities and tax regulations, retirement plans, and insurance products.

The Series 63 exam required Jamie to demonstrate knowledge of federal and state securities acts and related rules and regulations, as well as ethical practices and the fiduciary obligations of a financial advisor.
