Review Jamie Houston's experiences and accomplishments:

Jamie is a CFP® Professional (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER) and has also obtained the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU ®) designation from the American College and the Certification for Long Term Care (CLTC) designation, as well as passing the Series 6 and 63 exams.

Jamie spends a portion of her time helping to identify, select, and mentor new advisors within the firm, acting as a Field Director with Northwestern Mutual since 2014. Our firm is growing so please let us know if you or anyone you know is interested in learning more about this career.

Jamie has achieved MDRT (million dollar round table) production and received the Pearl Circle of Excellence award from WIFS, Women in Financial Services. She is actively involved as an affiliate member of the Women in Law and Young Professionals sections of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, and a sponsor for SNAWA (Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys). She was chosen as a leader in Northwestern Mutual's 250th Fastrack Academy based upon her business and leadership results.

The CFP® certification process, administered by CFP Board, identifies to the public that those individuals who have been authorized to use the CFP® certification marks in the U.S. have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when dealing with clients. The mission of Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) is to benefit the public by granting the CFP® certification and upholding it as the recognized standard of excellence for competent and ethical personal financial planning.

The Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) is the world's most respected designation of insurance expertise. This prestigious course of study advanced my knowledge on the insurance needs of individuals, business owners and professional clients.

The "Certified in Long-Term Care" (CLTC) designation was created in 1999.  It focuses on the discipline of extended care planning.  It provides professionals the critical tools necessary to discuss the subject of longevity and its consequences on their client's family and finances.  In this course, Jamie furthered her education on how to mitigate these consequences by developing a plan to protect her clients and their families.

The Series 6 exam is administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and assesses knowledge of mutual funds, variable annuities, securities and tax regulations, retirement plans, and insurance products.

The Series 63 exam required Jamie to demonstrate knowledge of federal and state securities acts and related rules and regulations, as well as ethical practices and the fiduciary obligations of a financial advisor.
